Agora 06:20
Mounted in the heart of passion Pacing in one allied motion Old love Forever an old love In need for name and balance You deal with your own dissemblance Old love Forever an old love Move along the line Will is breaking and dies The state and the land needs you The rhythm of long-lost union Having the sole figure to rely on Old love Forever an old love With no one’s shoulder to cry on You rid yourself of the voice of reason Old love Forever an old love We are swollen With the tears of doubt Hate has fallen On our vigilance Move along the line Will is breaking and dies The state and the land needs you

Dentro 04:25
Sea of phantoms Trails of power Forging me in you Sleazy planets Reign of anger Building me inside of you Inside a home A grave for lust Heart is racing Liver is burning Death is distant Love is vacant A grave for lust Sea of phantoms Trails of power Forging me in you I am growing inside of you Copied, phony, simulated And planets are ripping sky apart When tide is taking us away

05:02
Left alone to glow The first son The new blood Pristine We thought we lost you The first of the new kind For the world to show Press on push on Our new dawn There are no words for you You will make it on your own Seeing through the screens The dusk in falling Over this ancient crowd Press on push on The first of the new kind Will put our woes away There are no words for you You will make it on your own Seeing through the screens
4.
Perto 04:00
I burned the old world And died in mountains of trash Scattered over the streets Trees dear to me Lost in fire Flames rose in endless excess Shatter the embers The cities must fall apart After the slumber Wild bodies will germinate again In cavity our faith declined And left empty space For the waves of the heat I burned the old world And died Long before we lost our chance to thrive Shatter the embers The cities must fall apart After the slumber Wild bodies will germinate again In the light We stand Into the night We enter Shatter the embers The cities must fall apart After the slumber Wild bodies will grow Shatter the embers The cities must fall apart After the slumber Wild bodies will germinate again

Acima 03:09
Dots in aura World is stained with snow Lines begin to collide In central point Dots in aura Only visual snow How we all appear Visual snow

Fora 05:28
It spreads far and wide It’s operating In many ways Generating Laws of decay Days just go by Out here The star is here Glaring over our houses Barren is the land of gleam The gold void Our house is constantly Recreated to endure Land of silent doors The star is here The eye in the sky is clear Watching over our houses Barren is the land of gleam The gold void Our house is constantly Recreated to assure No one will ever take your star away

Devagar 04:46
Vapor trails cutting through the evening sky Ceiling is filled with stars Northern guard feels so alive tonight We’re chasing the ghosts of night Flying over the coasts of Chile There’s an eye in the sky Moving close Passing by There’s an eye in the sky Changing shapes of the light Could you find home all along? One thing on my mind What will lead the way Shine a light in the dark Stars are too far away We’re losing our locality Diving into the big blue sky No one is lost One thing on my mind What will lead the way Shine a light in the dark Stars are too far away Could you find home all along?
9.
Longe 04:48
The thrill is gone And you slowly drift away The beast inside is yearning For the love sincere I feel there’s nothing left to try And I hope to sleep Medicines will break my will In ways you won’t believe Medicines will make me feel Like I am not in me Emptiness expanding by the day The thrill is gone And I don’t know who you are anymore I’ve not been sleeping Now that the love has flown I feel there’s nothing more to say I just want to breathe Medicines will break my will In ways you won’t believe Medicines will make me feel Like I am not in me Emptiness expanding by the day

Através 03:18
You’re a ghost of machine Rose so high but you live so low Promise you’ll never stale It’s a word that you’re gonna have to keep Raw flows Always been a pain for you Countless doors It’s where your ghost is diffused In rotten molecules Floating aimlessly in space You’re a ghost of machine Rose so high but you live so low Promise you’ll never stale It’s a word that you’re gonna have to keep Never stop looking back It’s your heart that you’re gonna have to give

about

Clinamen - unpredictable swerve of atoms, origin of nondeterministic philosophy. 'Unpredictability' is the key word for Clinamen's pop music. They made their pop music like biological entities - knew the ingredients, but never expected what the final outcome would be. From the dreamy soundscapes of "Agora" & "Acima" infused with modern classical anxiety to the drony, glitchy subversion of 80's romantic pop in "Aí", "Debaixo" and "Fora". From the bossa nova-inspired "Longe" & "Através" to the deconstruction of 90s techno/jungle rhythms of "Perto" & "Devagar". But "The Tropisms of Spring" is really a jazz album. Electronics are really free jazz drums and voice is really a cool jazz trumpet. Or not. You decide.

"The Tropisms Of Spring is a deeply moving album, and one that elicits a similar emotional response as Kraftwerk’s Radioactivity." - Julian Marszalek, The Quietus

"Plastyczna, niebanalna, pobudzająca wyobraźnię płyta pokazująca żywotność różnych muzycznych estetyk, które podlegają zmianie, transformacji." - Bartek Chaciński, Polifonia

"Chłodny i surowy akompaniament Ostrowskiego wchodzi w zaskakująco udaną symbiozę z żywiołową osobowością Jakuba Ziołka (...) Na „The Tropisms of Spring” to właśnie małe stłuczki, do których dochodzi na przecięciu obu artystycznych temperamentów, nadają wyrazistość temu wydawnictwu." - Bartosz Nowicki, Dwutygodnik
